He will be replacing Tommy Shoemaker, who will be the CAC head coach next year. Mote has been the assistant for the last two seasons. Previously, Roddy was the head coach at Augusta. He was the running back coach at Harding University for 10 seasons and worked as the football coach at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Atlanta, Georgia. Coach Keese says, "Roddy relates to our kids. He's a great motivator, he loves the Lord, he loves the kids and he knows football. We feel we've got the perfect guy to replace Tommy."
